The surrounding land is a maze of ancient paths perfect for long walks and exploration. Fantastic scenery can be enjoyed on foot and horse riding is also available at nearby equestrian centre.

The local village Ríogordo (Fat River) is 15 minutes by car. There you find a banc with 24 hr cash machine, a post office, grocery shop, pharmacy, doctor etc.

A hospital and many more shops are at Vélez Málaga, 30 minutes by car.

The Nerja Caves are worth visiting. They have been washed out fife million years ago and were habitated bei man in the Stone Age 15.000 years ago.

They are the biggest in Spain and today a stage has been installed where theatre and dance performances are celebrated.
